По данни от 2013.г на Международната Диабетична Федерация в България живеят 577 000 души с диабет. Както сочи статистиката, състоянието е много често срещано, но малко се знае за него.
Изложбата има за цел да даде повече гласност относно състоянието и да представи хората с диабет по начин, който е извън всеобщото възприятие. Чрез техните усмивки и греещи очи искаме да покажем, че диабетът не е присъда, животат не свършва и че с диабет се живее.
